Quick question;

in this part of the animation in your sig;

Do you blur it like that in Flash or do you use Photoshop (Or any other program for that matter) for that? o:

I'm pretty sure you can use Flash for that, Lethys, but I know for sure you can do that in Fireworks.

Awsome guide ! It helped me alot (: . I'm currently making my first flash animation now . I need some help though , How do you save it as a .gif image ? I've been struggling for this problem in hours . Anyone can help ? Make more guides btw (: . Their really helpful !

well i tried saving it as gif 2 but the quality is messed up using flash 8
so i just saved it as a swf and upload it on www.sfwme.com

Flash is a pay-to-use program IIRC

less mb and just the same :P
just type in at google macromedia flash 8 portable :P

Because I'm in a good mood I give the explanation of the words.
Frame rate: How many frames you have each second.
Pixel: 1 small square in a picture or it means the distance is 1 pixel, that means you have to click once for the movement ( in flash ).
Url: Something like www.bsbackgrounds.forumotion.com or www.google.nl, the thing you type in the browser
Png: A type of imageformat which can have a transparent background
Host an image: Putting your document/image online

I'm going to clear up something: Tweens aren't bad. Just play around with the frames in a keyframe. Just dont use a tween for everything.

Uses for tweens:
-Walking
-Projectiles
-Sometimes Skills, such as energy bolt that need to be thrown.

but for something like a stab, you don't need tweens.

Tween isn't bad, it just gets a bad name because of abuse.
But if you're using a tween and it looks bad, just Frame-by-Frame the object, because when some things are tweened, they have a non-realistic kind of look.
